After some successful blueberry picking nights with the babes in August, Emily and I whipped up some BlueBerry soup!
Tip for preparing blueberries: Spread into a single layer on a cookie sheet and put in the freezer. Any worms will pop out after a short while, and you can easily remove them from the berries.

This recipe was a bit tart for three out of the four kids, but Mason was clearly a fan! It was very fresh and different... a great new way to enjoy blueberries!
Google Blueberry Soup for many variations of recipes! There are so many different versions with different ingredients like red wine, cardamon, lemon juice, sour cream, yogurt, mint leaves, half and half, fresh ginger, etc. They all sound good! Let me know if you try any recipes and what you think!
